Sudan: VP Affirms Success of Firearms Collection Campaign.

The Vice-President of the Sudan Republic, Hassabu Mohammed Abdul Rahman has affirmed the success of the first phase of the Firearms Collection Campaign.
Hassabu addressing the Annual Conference of the People's Police, at the Friendship Hall,

on Sunday, stressed the necessity for ending the second phase of the collection of arms by using accurate information.
He outlined that security is a basic pillar for the state, saying that Sudan witnesses high stability rates and works for more stability.
He has described the arms as the biggest threat for national and social security and the cause of tribal conflict, human trafficking and drugs.

The secretary general of Zakat chamber Mohammad Abdul Razig said that around 14 million of the citizens of Sudan are receiving financial help from Zakat chamber. He said that he is talking about 2,291,781 families throughout the country.
