Governor of Central Bank Affirms Firmness of Sudan-UAE Relations

The Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan, Hazim Abdulgadir Ahmed has affirmed the deeply rooted Sudan-UAE relations.

The governor who met, Thursday, at his office, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Sudan, has affirmed that Sudan works for strengthening its relations with the UAE to be strategic relations, adding that he Bank of Sudan will continue its cooperation and coordination with the concerned UAE circles to remove all the obstacles and encourage the inflow of the UAE investments in Sudan, specially, in financial and banking fields .
The UAE Ambassador has affirmed the distinguished relations between Sudan and his country, adding that the UAE gives due concern over the investment in Sudan.

The Sudan Minister of International Cooperation Idris Suleiman has stressed the importance of consultation and coordination with the relevant ministries to determine priorities for projects and programs and ways to implement them in the framework of the new grant of the European Union (EU) for Sudan amounting to 60 million Euros.
