Memo of understanding between National Upstream Company and Chinese Tianjin Company signed

A memorandum of understanding was signed last Friday between the National Upstream Solutions Company (NUS)and Tianjin Company (DFXK) of China was signed Sunday, in the presence of the Minister of Oil and Gas Dr. Abdurrahman Osman on financing the purchase of two 1,500-horsepower oil drilling platforms at soft payment terms extended up to three years.

The General Manager of the National Upstream Solutions Company Consultant Engineer Ahmed Abu Bakr signed on behalf of the Sudanese side and the President of Tianjin Company Mr. Li Shi Lou signed for the Chinese side.
The Minister of Oil and Gas praised this partnership, stressing the depth of the strategic relations between Sudan and China, asserting his keenness on the continuity of economic relations in all fields and cooperation in the field of oil with Chinese companies.

Commissioner Madame MayadaSuar Al-Dahab said that Khartoum state is launching a new initiative and adopting new methods to fight drug circulation and trafficking in the state next year. The commissioner described the drug as a threat to the national security. She called for the mobilization of all the parties in the battle againstdrug.
