Sudan: a seminar in Khartoum affirms Gebel Barkal’s tourism diversity

The Sharjah hall has lately seen a seminar in Khartoum on (The folklore and tourism activities in Jebel Barkal), which was organized by the Committee responsible for seminars in the Authority of Barkal festival for tourism, culture and investment.

 

The researcher and professor at the University of Dongola Dr. Mohamed Mahdi Bushra stressed that Gebel Barkal is a cultural center, in an area that saw some of the greatest human civilizations, that lasted for eight thousand years; in addition to this Barkal area enjoys an environmental diversity that can be developed through giving more attention and taking advantage of its vast capabilities to the fullest extent possible.
