Sudan is to participate in the 152 Session of the Council of the Arab Satellite Communications Organization(Arabsat) which takes place, Tuesday , in the Jordanian capital of Amman.
Undersecretary of Ministry of Information, Abdul-Majid Haroun said in statements to SUNA, that the meeting will tackle issues pertinent to making control over performances of TV channels which cover Arab space.
Haroun indicated that the meeting will be extension to previous meeting which held at Arab League Headquarters in Cairo, disclosing that Sudan , under sanctions being imposed on it, has made use of the Arabsat.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information pointed out that Sudan has called for legalizing means of channel transmission, cities of media production and the major information companies, asserting that Sudan has long suffered from negative services at level of Arab TV channels.
